Our client is highly successful, profitable, privately owned business supplying a broad range of business products to a diverse mix of corporate clients in a highly competitive marketplace.
It is a market leader with strong brand identity, a comprehensive and current product offering and operates nationally through a branch network.
This key role carries responsibility for their London and South East sales operation, which operates through a number of sites and in a market which has significant potential for growth. There are well established sales teams in each location including both inside and outside sales and they have a real strength in depth in terms of marketplace knowledge and sector expertise.
The role is broad ranging including accountability for branch profitability, the achievement of budgets and sales targets, customer and supplier relationships, business control, targeting and developing new markets, retention of existing business and team development.
The client would like to appoint a high calibre sales leader, with the knowhow of the print sector and gravitas necessary to lead this top team and grow this key region. The role will be hands on with you leading the way on key customer interfaces whilst also developing sales winning strategies for the business. Clearly knowledge and experience in the print sector is preferred with other areas of potential interest to the client being stationery, paper, board, transit packaging, cartons, tapes, point of sale, signage and business products.
In addition to your deep knowledge of the London marketplace, you will also need to bring significant levels of commerciality and credibility to this fast paced, service driven, price competitive and highly dynamic marketplace.

You will be expected to live within the South East, ideally within the East M25 region.
