Our well established and rapidly expanding clients based in Waltham Abbey, Essex are now in the market for a Receptionist / Administrator for their busy Head Office ! The ideal candidate will have had extensive reception / front office experience and be available to start immediately. This reception role will involve :

  • Viewing, screening and maintaining main email address on on their internal customer record management system.
  • Taking incoming calls, screening and transferring them to the correct person/dept
  • Photocopying / scanning / typing / printing / filing
  • Meet and greet clients offering refreshments as required
  • Ensure meeting room is tidied promptly after each meeting including clearing of refreshments /Tea/Coffee making
  • Diary Management for Directors and other senior members of staff
  • Dealing and receiving deliveries
  • Any ad-hoc duties as requested by Manager
  • To learn duties required to cover holidays / absences or general overload of work with departments
  • Health, Safety, Quality & Environmental - collating documents, make up files/folders, organising training, plant hire and skips
  • Maintaining the companies filing system

Our client would like to secure a candidate who is able to start immediately and ideally with the following skills and experience :

  • Computer literate - a good working knowledge of MS Office
  • Good communication skills both over the telephone and in writing
  • Good literacy skills
  • Polite telephone manner
  • Prompt time keeping essential
  • Enthusiastic and motivated
  • Well organised and have an ability to prioritise
  • Well presented and able to handle calls from a variety of clients
