Konecranes has an exciting opportunity for a Service Manager to join their team based in Rochester. You will be employed on a full time permanent basis and receive a competitive salary.

The business area of maintenance service offers service solutions and maintenance for all crane brands, for port equipment and machine tools.

In order to develop and grow the maintenance service business in the UK and to support the South-East region, we are seeking to recruit a Service Manager.

About the Service Manager

Reporting to the Branch Manager, the successful applicant will provide leadership and direct all operational field activities and resources including safety, customer satisfaction, operationally derived quoting/customer consultation, labour and resource planning, field operative productivity, material requisition/preparation, vehicle and equipment management and service request execution.

- Both practical and theoretical engineering experience is necessary

- At least three years' relevant experience of the maintenance service business/ crane industry/electrical knowledge

- Basic financial and business understanding is also beneficial

- Good IT and communication skills
