Job Title: REACH Specialist Req ID: 100487BR Location: Harlow Summary of Role A position has become available to lead the Raytheon UK REACH programme that aims to enhance the company's capability to comply with EU REACH regulations. The role requires someone to lead REACH activities, work with stakeholders to implement tools and processes, and provide subject matter support across the UK business. Main Duties - Enacting a plan to maintain compliance with, and mitigate risk triggered by, EU REACH regulations - Providing governance for REACH related activities across all Raytheon UK facilities - Providing subject matter support to functions and programmes, managing arising issues and triggering activities to support compliance when required - Supporting programmes in their substitution to alternative chemistries - Representing Raytheon UK on global trade associations and consortia, alongside our industry partners, with the aim of delivering a standard way of working while sharing risk and cost Candidate Requirements Essential - Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Chemistry, Engineering or similar - Experience in a similar role - Sound understanding of REACH regulation and how it impacts large manufacturing businesses - Project management experience Desirable - Experience in Aerospace and Defence - Able to lead reviews and workshops - Prepared to travel and work abroad for short periods About Raytheon Raytheon UK is a subsidiary of Raytheon Company.
