Electronic Product Validation Engineer Our Client currently has an exciting new opportunity for an Electronic Product Validation Engineer to join their busy team based in Hertford. The role of the Electronic Product Validation Engineer is to support the Validation of new products through the development cycle, predominantly high-speed digital audio and video products for the automotive market, including compliance testing. As an Electronic Product Validation Engineer you will also be responsible for the following: Electronic Product Validation Engineer Prime Duties and Responsibilities: Create Specifications for electronic design / testing requirements and be jointly responsible for creating performance requirement specifications to allow our suppliers to provide quotations and solutions to satisfy our requirements Create test plans to enable verification/validation of performance against specification for all new products. Manage the test plan for both internal and outsourced testing Conduct internal verification/compliance testing for new products according to automotive standards and individual customer specifications Run Labview analysis tools, set up test routines Support environmental testing of product Responsibility for electronic project / Test timing, providing direction to globally distributed supply partners Keep up to date issues lists on all programs Work closely and liaise as necessary with suppliers on the testing/validation/verification of existing and new products, analysing and verify designs and solutions Support mechanical design engineers on development projects as directed Qualification / Education Requirements: The successful Electronic Engineer must have: A degree in Electronic Engineering or Demonstrable knowledge and experience. Excellent time management skills The ability to prioritise and meet deadlines whilst maintaining high standards of accuracy Ability to work as an engineering team member in a fast-paced work environment with frequent deadlines Experience and expertise in:- LabView EMC compliance Video and Audio signal Processing Wireless communications Wi-Fi, BT etc. Environmental Testing Vibration Testing Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, Word, Powerpoint). Preferred Skills: Experience in the Automotive Industry, knowledge of PPAP and PSW requirements with regard to electronic based products.
