My client, a wholesale business supplying into the construction industry are, due to expansion, looking for a Shipping Administrator to join their team.
The main purpose of the role is to assist in the logistics function of the business ensuring products reach the business from suppliers and get to end users efficiently. To achieve this, you will liaise with suppliers regarding products being transported to the business, liaise with the shipping agents to arrange specific times and dates of delivery, clearing goods of Duty / VAT & negotiating pricing on the shipping of products.
The ideal candidate will have office experience, be well organised, confident and an excellent communicator both written and verbal. Knowledge of freight or shipping will be an advantage but not essential.
This is a full time position, based in Haverhill, Suffolk.
