Salary: £25,083 - £26,153 per annum

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (banking 30 minutes towards the shut down between Christmas and New Year)

The purpose of this role is to ensure effective complaint handling across the Council.  

This includes working with different services and customers to bring about resolutions to complaints including responsibility for Local Government Ombudsman cases, stage three complaints and enquiries from the local MP. 

The post holder will be responsible for carrying out full investigations and collating files and drafting responses to customers. You will be expected to deal with complex cases and ensure that complaints are resolved in timescales and satisfactorily.

You will mainly work autonomously and it is essential that you are able to deal with all levels of staff both within the Council and externally.

You will have excellent letter writing skills, the ability to plan and prioritise a busy work load with a calm and methodical approach to work.
