School Meals Support Manager

Based in West Essex

35hrs per week term time only

Actual salary within the range £20,000 – £25,000 for hours /weeks worked

Due to the promotion of one of our long standing team members we are seeking to appoint a school meals support manager to join our county wide support team. Candidates will have a strong man-management background gained within a catering and training sector ideally with some experience of school/public sector environment.

This role will be hands on supporting our schools with the management and development of their in-house catering service including compliance with all statutory/legal requirements. The post holder will work in a geographical area supporting up to 35 schools and have a hands on approach and as such strong craft skills are required. Use of your own car is essential and a mileage allowance will be paid

 To succeed in this role, you will need excellent organisational and communication skills, sound IT experience (word and excel packages) and you must  be sensitive and diplomatic to the individual needs of each team and support them in delivering excellent services to the children of Essex.
