Female Key Worker / Support Worker
Centre 404 is a well-established charity with an excellent reputation for providing high quality support and services to people with learning disabilities and their families in Islington.
We are looking for a Key Worker to work with a 31 year old woman who lives with three flatmates in supported accommodation in Islington. Her learning disability requires a high level of support and personal care, often 1:1. She loves listening to a range of music and enjoys making her own. She is also a keen swimmer and a fan of good food. She enjoys socializing and outings, such as attending the cinema, art galleries, music gigs and festivals.
The right candidate will be pro-active and imaginative to enable her to continue and further develop activities, interests and her relationships with family and friends. The Key Worker will play an integral part in enabling the young woman by researching opportunities of her interest, as well as organising and planning her activity diary.
The Key Worker will also be a member of a friendly and energetic team providing support and personal care for the other tenants. You will also play a part in enabling them to have interesting and fulfilled lives and to promote and maintain their health and well being.
