SEN Learning Support Assistant
Are you an experienced and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant with a passion for working with students with SEN difficulties? If so then we would love to hear from you regarding work in the Thurrock area.
We have a selection of primary schools in Thurrock who rely on us for support when they need cover for sickness or courses etc. They also often require people to step in at short notice, should an SEN student needing 1:1 support join the school. The length of assignments can vary from day to day, to weekly and in some cases this can also lead to long term or permanent roles (if so desired).).
Most roles can be very varied, working with whole classes and supporting SEN students in small groups or on a 1:1 basis. There is also the opportunity to work with various special education needs, including Autism and behaviour difficulties.
This is a great opportunity to:
- Gain experience working in different schools
- Expand your knowledge of working with different SEN difficulties
- Work with a range of students on 1:1, small group and whole class basis
- Give yourself the flexibility to fit work in around your life rather than the other way round.
Working through Randstad you will be supported by a specialist recruitment consultant who will be able to give you valuable information on the schools you will be teaching in enabling you to be well prepared and successful.
Please send your CV FAO Greg Burns. Greg is our dedicated SEN Consultant and will be happy to guide you through each step of the process from your application, right up to starting with the School.
